• Why

Why visits me from a broken place where we are unable pass through. All of us encounter this place with some more than other. The blessing involved with this condition has its victory through the word and power of God by His spirit. Blessed are they that mourn:for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4 Amen

  • Nosaka

    Nosaka comes to me from the strength of the young tennis champion Naomi Osaka. Established in 1997 this champion won my attention with her struggle with her challenges. The battle that ensued while she managed to address her challenges and say no to the sports and tennis world was outstanding. To say no to millions of dollars while on top of her game. She is breath of fresh air to all who struggle with taken time off instead of hard charging into death through mental illness. Her decision to leave the game for an indefinite amount of time speaks volumes. There is a piece in the bible written by King David which I believe speaks to her heart. The king worships God with this;
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works ; my soul knows it very well. Psalm 139:14
In these trying times we need to be reminded of the challenges we face in our mental health . Be encouraged to address and confront them instead of saving face and going off the deep end to please others. Remember it is our uniqueness which presents our greatness unto the glory (goodness) of God. Amen I

    Nipsey H

While visiting the news account of the life of this young man my heart and mind visited the scripture out of Matthew 4:17 The image of this man and his life defines the words that describe a life that begins one way and finishes another. Mr Hustle actions are truly indicative of the word of God which defines a pure heart. It says; Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Matthew 5:8. In our daily lives repentance offers us the ability to start each day fresh and new. Every day God puts before us blessings and curses providing us with the opportunity to live by choosing the lord. (Deuteronomy 30:19 ,20) In the end God's tabernacle (dwelling place)is with men (Revelation 21:3)Amen..

Thus saith the LORD, What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain?

    Brotherly Love

Born into a world that places an emphasis on self (narcisism) the perception of our existence is filtered and blocked by motives that are self defeating. Our Lord places an emphasis on loving your neighbor like a brother. The apostle Paul writes in Romans 12:10 "Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; ".There are times when loving your brother can be the most challenging test to our faith. When we remove self and allow Christ to sit on the throne miracles occur. Those challenging issues become shouts of praise. Honor and love one another and allow Christ to use your example for his glory Amen

    Help Us

Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:
    Acts 26:22

James Baldwin and Michael K Williams were African American lives conditioned around the complexities of our lives. James Baldwin ,author and activist visits the experience through the lives of three of his best friends Malcom X, Dr. Martin Luther King and Medgar Evers. The tragedy associated with these lives were the nature of the manner in which each life passed into eternity. Michael K Williams through substance abuse and the three civil rights leaders through violence. The gist of all of it is that our history is not our past it is our present.

For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught [it], but by the revelation of Jesus Christ
    Galatians 1:10
May grace find all of you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus the Christ. Today I am blessed with the opportunity to share this gospel not to please or persuade anyone. It doesn't come from men or is it taught, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ During this heavy time which we are in the blessing for all of us is to realize the power of God to save us through the Lord Jesus the Christ. The main part of the revelation today is to recieve by faith that Jesus is Lord over all of your troubles. There is nothing that we are going through at this time that His power through God the Father can't be defeated. The victory is ours. A word came to me today from John 13:20 It says; Verily, verily I say unto you He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me and he that receiveth me recieveth him that sent me. My prayer today is that all of us who call on his name will be generous in presenting His gospel to a neighborhood, community, nation and world starving for His spirit and His peace. Lets continue to humble ourselves and wash the feet of those in need of his Living water. Lets begin to sooth those feet by drying them so they can walk on and be a blessing to someone else. It is the ministry of the gospel of Jesus the Christ that provided salvation to our grandparents generation our parents generation and our generation. It is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. His abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness will only reign in life by one, Jesus the Christ(Romans 5:17). Amen. Remember the foundation of the gospel is love (1Corinthians 13) without it all you are doing is making noise.

Seek the Kingdom of Heaven in all its righteousness (A Meditation)

But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you
    Matthew 6:33

    The Cross and the Blood

The Cross and The Blood is the first in a series of images and posters centered on the theme Emancipation. Our value as Christians is predicated on our view and perception of the cross. The term Emancipation uses words such as free, liberate, transfer ownership, free from restraint, release from bondage , and so on . The Cross and the Blood is indicative of the liberating power needed to be free of the tyranny of Satan. The Cross and the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus is the only way. Death comes when we embrace the cross. In that death comes the Emancipating power and witness of Christ. Jesus stated it very pointedly to His disciples in Matthew 16:24; " If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. That ressurrection power that raised Christ from the grave is the foundation and power available to us to claim victory. To Emancipate us from the god of this world, our flesh, and all the challenges our faith. As the Apostle Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 1:17, " For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect." Lets not forget its power and witness which demonstrates to us His victory over the grave.

Two of the greatest African American men to grace the twentieth century. Malcom X and Muhammad Ali were aligned like blood brothers .
The evil of men misaligned the two and the result one life (Malcolm X) ended up in a tragedy. Although Muhammad Ali lived a life of great triumph and success each one of these men encouraged generations of African Americans to do great things. As I celebrate African American heritage this February. I am grateful for both Muhammad Ali and Malcolm X for standing for something and not falling for anything. Amen.
