This image visits me while visiting a location in downtown Newark. There was a soup kitchen close by that was feeding the homeless. To me this image speaks to the desperation of people on our streets concerning the basic needs being met in these low income communities. The temperature at the time this image was taken was 24 degrees. Really!!
